OK... So I guess the 2012 election is off then, right? Family Radio sets date for end of the world

Here is the deal: I'm in Chicago and turn on the car radio. The station is set on a frequency that is used by public radio near where I live, but by an outfit called Family Radio in the Chicago market. And what do I hear? Apparently, the end of the world is near -- VERY near. The date, they say, will be May 21, 2011.

4. That's funny, the same thing happened to me tonight

I tried out the website, but the bible gobbledegook and reaching interpretations were hard for me to connect with.

I've got a friend I work with who's involved in a lot of this stuff, and I respect what he's got to say. I'm asking him when he comes in Tuesday.

But . . . you know, it's a freaky coincidence that I was meandering about the lower reaches of the AM side of my car radio tonight and got the same message . . .

6. I did some digging on their site.

Great news! The rapture is scheduled for May 21st and not the actual end of the world.

I wonder how many of them will wake up crushed on the Morning of the 22nd thinking they were "Left Behind"?
