I'm now seeing commercials for knee replacement surgery on TV. Are people really dumb enough to get surgery because of an ad they saw on TV? What happened to trusting the doctor's judgment?

1. I wonder the same thing about |
|
blood pressure or depression medicine. I really think that you and your doctor should discuss what medicines you take, and not the TV.

3. Many of the ads I've seen for various meds end with a warning to tell |
|
your doctor what medications you are taking.
I wonder about this warning, because *my* doctor already knows the medication I'm taking. The info is right in my chart.
