tonight, as the new groping (excuse me, procedures) were being discussed, the person he was interviewing said that, in europe, they don't understand why we are so upset. the reason: they understand that the "greater good" is more important.

Spoke to a friend of mine today who lives in Europe, and he says this news is on their news night and day. Now, normally their news is too busy covering serious international stuff to fool around with a story like this, which gives the lie to the fact that "they just don't understand what the big deal is".

In fact, they are appalled at all the signs of a police state emerging in the U.S., just as so many of us are.
