It seems some on the right, thought It was okay when Arabs and people who looked as though they could be from the Middle East were targets, now that the TSA are going after everyone, people are throwing a fit. All I can say is walk in the shoes of any minority in this country. I have friends and family members who can't even shop in a store without being tailed by security or drive down the street without being pulled over, because they may not look like they "belong" in a nice neighborhood.

Maybe now people who supported the "papers please" law in AZ will have a change of heart, now that they know what' it's like to be targeted. The thing is, this only happens to some people when they're at the airport, imagine being treated as a potential criminal no matter where you go. Talk to any minority male in the inner city and they'll tell you that it's not unusual for them to be pulled over and get a pat -down for no good reason. Welcome to their reality.

2. Just making a point, that I wish people would stand up for people who experince this type of thing

every day of their lives. Number 2. I'm not a a fan of "groping " as I've stated previously, if I had a problem with this procedure I wouldn't fly. Why not address the issues raised in my post? About how, many Americans go through far worse not just at airports , but wherever they go.

If I felt my rights were being violated; I wouldn't put myself in a position knowing that may happen. I would boycott flying until the policy changed. Seriously what else can you do? Complain and go along with it or refuse to fly. The intent of my post was to point out the hypocrisy by some when it comes to how other people are treated. They only speak up when it happens to them. That's all I'm saying.

The TSA is coming under target for privatization. So they changed the rules and started going on their rant so they can Privatize the Airport Screeners. Oh and probably add more of those Scanners. One of Chertoff's friends. And the Arizona Law that you are referring to,as " papers please" was not to profile,but to extort Millions of dollars from the Federal Government through Ms.Brewer and her cronies CCA private prisons to expand the prison system. They used fear about be-headings and Latinos coming to get white people and their jobs. Just letting you know that your op is pointing out exactly what they want people to think. When the conquer and divide method is known here at DU. As long as we look at one another based on the perceptions we are fed through different exchanges we will never see the ultimate goal is still the same,THE MONEY. And we know their reality some of us were just lucky enough to be born in it.
