Cat Food Donations Desperately Needed




While we all think of donating food for the hungry, many times we forget animals also may be in need. The Billerica Cat Care Coalition helps us to remember the many hungry feral and stray cats that need to be helped.

Billerica Cat Care Coalition (a 501c3 organization) is a no-kill cat rescue and adoption organization that assists feral (wild) and abandoned cats and their kittens. They encourage low-cost spay/neuter and work to educate the public on local animal issues. Their programs, in addition to they spay and neuter, include feline health and lost cats.

They have several events coming up. On November 27th BCCC will be at Pet Supply Plus in Burlington for a Meet and Greet. On December 4th, they will be at Agway in Chelmsford for Agway's Winter Farmer's Market.

And when you shop, remember the cats that need your help. Drop off bins are located at the Billerica Public Library, all three Market Basket locations in Billerica, Burlington Pet Supplies Plus and Agway in Chelmsford. BCCC thanks you in advance for helping them restock their food shelves in their cause to help these needy animals.
