I really really hope Palin wins the nomination!
Obama will kick her ass by 20 points.

And you all of you who say "what if she wins"......you are not thinking clearly.

I know Bush II won but even his ass was 10 times more qualified than Palin.

And I would rather Obama run against Palin than Romney or some semi-qualified candidate.

Palin will expose her stupidity multiple times, and America will get sick of her. Her negatives are already sky-high.

Please, support Palin in the primaries!!!

It will be a world class ass kicking!

1. She would have to debate a number of sentient conscious beings and win.
Not gonna happen.

12. Good point!
Not only would she actually have to answer questions in a debate with the other republicans, but I am as sure as I am sitting here that Rove and his gang are out scraping up every piece of dirt they can find about her to make sure she never wins the nomination! The only way I see here winning is if things are so bad for republicans they don't want to waste any of their "talent" running when they know the don't stand a chance, kind of like what they did with McCain in 2008! Even then I think there are still some others that they would be willing to sacrifice it order to get Palin out of the picture and send here back to Alaska never to return! I think that before the primaries even start there will be a huge civil war within the party, Palin on one side the mainstream republicans on the other! Another thought is that the "war" will divide the party big time, and the teabaggers will want to run Palin as a third party candidate, which will split the vote even more for the right! I think she would do it simply because she "HAS" to be front and center, her ego is so huge she can't let go of her quest for fame and "MONEY"!

I say let the games begin!

2. I hope not.
Its bad for the country to have a complete moron just one step away from the presidency.

3. I do NOT want this.
Yeah, we'd probably beat her.

That's only part of the point.

Running gives her credibility. And that is a very important thing. It could also give her martyrdom.

Publicity is priceless, and she would have that in spades.

I do not want that woman anywhere near our White House!

6. You are correct in your estimation of her skills
And I for one would hope that the talking chuckleheads who dictate what we see and hear on the teevee would actually commit some acts of journalism on Mrs. Palin. I worry that they'll grant her excessive deference, and like her performance art piece during the "debate" with Biden, will just let her say any old thing that pops into her vacant cranium. She is unlikely to win over undecided voters, and it will be rather a hoot to watch her fervent supporters crash into unyielding reality.

If not, we will see a repeat of 2010.

11. Nooooo! With Corporate Billions Backing Her She Might Win
They have unlimited corporate money available to them now.

We can only guess at the size of the corporate and foreign checks that are being written to Repiglickin causes, since these donations do not need to be reported.

This will be the first multi-billion dollar election. We can be quite sure of that.

It is possible that the sheer incompetence of their candidate will offset the huge monetary advantage they have, but it is by no means certain.

13. I don't
I didn't think Rand Paul had a chance of winning.

I laughed when Kris Kobach declared his candidacy and said 'Bring it on'

Be careful what you wish for.

Don't believe we can beat Caribou Barbie. She's a goddess to so many.

14. I am not so sure Palin would lose...
With the Republicans taking over the House they will spend the next two years trying to destroy Obama as a person while Rupert Murdoch's Media Empire will be doing the same along with Talk Radio...By the time 2012 gets here the ignorant public might elect Palin! After all they just gave the Republicans a majority in the House that may take a decade or longer to get rid of.

I am worried! Americans are easily fooled & the MSM will follow what Rupert Murdoch does in hopes of getting viewers rather than doing actual journalism...I bet if Palin does get the nomination the press will be nice to her just to so she will talk to them.

I do not share the overwhelming confidence many here on DU have...I hope I am very wrong but I have a bad feeling I won't be.
