It is obvious from a visual perusal of his body that he has no explosives or other devices on him. If this was REALLY about security that should have been enough. This is no longer about security it is about sexual assault, molesting and power

He wasn't forced to do so. He went through the metal detector, then put his clothes back on and went to his gate and flew. There is no rule against flying in a bathing suite, and he knew that in advance. He played his theater, he won, and he flew as he intended to do. His theater trumped the TSA's theater. Security was still maintained. Win-win.

Have you ever tried to reason with a bureaucrat? People who work in jobs like this are not given any decision-making authority. They are told to follow instructions to the letter. Their job is not to use their judgment to ensure that a person does not have anything suspicious attached to their body; their job is to feel his torso to make sure he does not have anything suspicious attached to his body. There is no reason to suspect a conspiracy theory here.
