Whether it be under priests, kings, or CEOs the PEOPLE have built bridges, set broken bones, taught children, scrubbed toilets, designed engines, grown crops, poured cement walkways, put out fires and fixed bad teeth.

8. In general humans

have elevated themselves in absolutely incredible ways since recorded history.

In general over the last say 1000 years we have gone from brutal harsh lives of largely subsistence living, plagues with wars and insecurity to a life of leisure and good health. Of course not all, but even the people plagued with horrible living condition are largely better off than their ancestors from a millennium ago.

9. I Agree! Although sometimes it seems a step backward many humans are better off IMO than

ancestors from a millennium ago. That said, it could be far better, but humans have this trait of imposing misery on others as they strive to dominate and control bettering themselves. For a supposedly intelligent species, we go about things in a rather strange way IMO and call it progress.
