I have two male cats that always lick each other;

Please hurry as I am living in a very patriotic and Christian area (who does not). I do not want the locals to find out this fact about my cats and perform vigilante justice.

some cats have 'grooming' anxiety-
the least little thing will send them into 'grooming' mode,
i.e. licking. has little to do with sexuality.
My cats' motto: "When in doubt, groom."

Male cats, like many male dogs, will hump anything,
as the least thing (especially scents)will excite them.
this behavior occurs even in neutered animals for a while.
they don't care if its another cat, a stuffed animal,
a couch pillow, just an item of possible relief.

but as to licking? Let 'em lick.

14. LOL!! It's so amazing how they interact. One is always more motherly than the other.

Right now, they're energetic and playing hide and seek. It's so interesting to watch them and what they do. I'm fortunate that they get along so well with each other and take care of each other.

I had a male and female cockatiel who never once had sex during the ten years they lived together (until the female died).

Not that the female wasn't willing...I'm sure she tried everything her little bird brain could think of to seduce her cage-mate.

He, however, wanted nothing to do with her.

His soul mate was one of those thick ropes I had in their aviary for them to climb on.

He would sit at the top where the fringe was and do some very odd things to the rope with his tiny little bird weenie.
