About the Hack Thirty

We're listing the worst columnists and cable news commentators America has to offer. Think of this as our all-star team -- of the most predictable, dishonest and just plain stupid pundits in the media.

The War Room Hack Thirty is a list of our least favorite political commentators, newspaper columnists and constant cable news presences, ranked roughly (but only roughly) in order of awfulness and then described rudely. Criteria for inclusion included writing the same column every week for 30 years, warmongering, joyless repetition of conventional wisdom, and making bad puns.

10. One of the daily 'must reads' back in the old days.

I never understood why the site shut down at a time when its popularity was on the rise. The anonymous person who ran MWO sure seemed to have some insider knowledge of the clown class. Someone must have been getting close to exposing them.

Anyways, I hope this becomes an annual event. Call it the Hackeys Award. Have the nominees voted by the public (like the Webby Awards) - maybe we can humiliate these people into writing honestly about the politics in DC. Someone could make a good living keeping these jokers honest.

who wrote these and asked if he could do a monthly --- check out this photo of Tom Friedman's house, who now fancy's himself as a green guy. To heat this monstrosity must cost a fricking fortune.
