The disclosure that Warren was instrumental in halting a bill that would have streamlined the foreclosure process comes as she confronts fierce criticism from Republicans on Capitol Hill for the way she was appointed to construct a new consumer financial protection bureau, and characterizations that she is inclined to take an overly punitive tack with Wall Street.

A long-time advocate for greater regulation of the financial system and a prominent critic of predatory lending, Warren now finds herself at the center of an intensifying debate over the relationship between the Obama administration and the business world.

4. There's Apparently No Time Limit On That...

Articles were written a while back that said she could spend a couple of years putting the Department together, and Obama could appoint her to head it when the political winds were more favorable... like after the 2012 Elections.

They put her up now, she won't get past the Senate.

So, tell me her qualifications for the Presidency, if you know them. I have no doubt that she is very ethical and honest. I cheered her appointment, and repeated that today.

Some people are allowing their dislike for President Obama to cause them to champion anyone they like at the moment as a potential primary opponent. If you think Warren should be President, start pointing out her qualifications, not just in consumer protection, but also international affairs and other issues Presidents have to face.

You're making a judgment about me you're not in any way qualified to make. You don't know me. Please stick to the subject, which is Warren's qualifications as a potential President. Thanks.
