4. Our father's in charge. He's decided he's never liked turkey.
And he's buying roasted chicken. There are six of us. He's getting each of our own chicken. I've tried to reason with him that two is plenty. He is 86+ years old and insistent on his own way.

Chicken salad anyone?

12. Gas station/convenience store sandwich, most likely.
I have to work and there's not much open.

Doing Thanksgiving 1st week of December... it will be the first time we've all been together in almost 20 years. We generally get all but one in various combinations. Can't wait!!

13. pork roast
cooked in apple cider and root vegetables
cornish game hems stuffed with apples
mashed potatoes
baked macaroni and cheese
green beans with bacon and onions
corn
rolls
pumpkin pie (store bought) and readi-whip
banana bread with coconut and chocolate chips

I was going to have enhanced cranberry sauce but the can never made it home from the Meijer’s or it is rolling around in the trunk of the car—I am the only one that likes the stuff so it doesn’t matter

Way too much food for two adults and a child.

17. Don't Like Thanksgiving
We're doing our annual tradition of driving up to the Native American-owned casino and giving them some money. They make a great salmon dinner.
