Bullshit. Palin is covering up for her stupidity with a standard idiots retort: 'I meant to say . . . '

Palin didn't know which Korea was hostile until she was told differently and she thought 'refudiate' was really a word when she said it. It's too late to take it back. She's ignorant of American history. She demonstrated that clearly when she attacked John Kennedy's 'Catholic' speech in her book. She demonstrates that at every opportunity. She doesn't deserve any cover for her stupidity. She's a demagogue without a clue.

When you listen to the audio it is clear that Beck tried to save her by saying "South Korea" after she said "North Korea" but she didn't catch on. She even continued on and made things worse.


But none of that will matter to the people able to convince themselves that what they want to be true actually is true.

Look, she has N O C L U E of what is going in that part of the world. Her pithy regurgitation was so hollow, so transparent, so fact free, that it was obvious that she was fed some crap to spew, and she simply blew her line.
The real problem is that she not only does not have a clue, she has no interest in ever developing one. It is not simply a matter of being mentally lazy or unread. I think that unless it revolves around her personally, she has an aversion to learning anything at all. She is unconcerned with facts, she is unread, she is so egocentric, that her bubbly mask she portrays manages to convince some people that behind it is a functioning brain, rather than ego, a barely functioning brain mass, and a lack of data made worse by a lack of interest.
