1. Well...used to make PB & J sandwiches, and then cookie cutter them into pretty pieces

and we all had to wear funny fancy hats, and outlandish play dress up "grown-up" clothes, and bring our dolls and teddy bears, and pretend we knew everything so we could talk a lot and...

...wait...that was back in the early '60s...and we were all about 5-7 years old...

Oh! it's KINDA like the mindless child's play of today's Tea Party...kinda... :eyes:

2. Ha, I was tempted to click "Don't Rember" As in....

"I was at this party and things were gettin' crazy and I kinda blacked out but it was late and maybe it was the booze but I could swear there were some dudes dressed like old-time presidents and stuff and I swear one dude was dressed like Ayn Rand- or maybe it was Peter Lorre. Anyway, I blacked out and when I woke up my pants were unbuttoned and there was a John Birch Society pamphlet between my ass-cheeks."

Otherwise I can't imagine how you wouldn't remember a Tea Party meeting.

3. Yes. I have always had this penchant for reconning the 'enemy', whether it's

the Tea Party or Texas ranchers meeting to discuss the effect environmentalists (like me) are having on their lives.

If I have an "enemy", I always find a way into their meetings where I either simply observe or I might even secretly record the meeting and bring that intel back to my team.

and even white folk with long hair/beards or women w/o Tammy Faye Baker make-up might arouse suspicions.

I went to one meeting on a lark during the town hall nonsense in 2009 and was sought out by many tea-baggers. If you are black (I'm bi-racial) they are all hoping you're the second coming of Alan Keyes... I must've been approached by half the crowd. Really freaked me out. It was like they were hoping with all their might that I might be a self-hating black man so their own prejudices would be confirmed. I was just waiting to hear "you're so articulate!"... I'm sure if I had stayed long enough it was coming...

After about 30 minutes I was kinda freaking out and had to leave. Not only was I being inundated by teabaggers who wanted to talk to a real live person of color, I got tired of having my picture taken. I'm pretty sure my picture is on the web somewhere (white racists feel compelled to take pictures with people of color so as to rebutt an accurate portrayal of their racist tendencies).

One thing's for sure, I won't be going back.
