A Bully Finds a Pulpit on the Web
SHOPPING online in late July, Clarabelle Rodriguez typed the name of her favorite eyeglass brand into Google’s search bar.

In moments, she found the perfect frames — made by a French company called Lafont — on a Web site that looked snazzy and stood at the top of the search results. Not the tippy-top, where the paid ads are found, but under those, on Google’s version of the gold-medal podium, where the most relevant and popular site is displayed.

Ms. Rodriguez placed an order for both the Lafonts and a set of doctor-prescribed Ciba Vision contact lenses on that site, DecorMyEyes.com. The total cost was $361.97.

It was the start of what Ms. Rodriguez would later describe as one of the most maddening and miserable experiences of her life.

“Listen, bitch,” he fumed, according to Ms. Rodriguez. “I know your address. I’m one bridge over” — a reference, it turned out, to the company’s office in Brooklyn. Then, she said, he threatened to find her and commit an act of sexual violence too graphic to describe in a newspaper.

2. "Maybe he should find a more mellow job, I suggest — become a shepherd or something."

The detail and writing at The Times has noticeably improved.

And my sympathies to Ms. Rodriguez.

3. Not only would I have called the police for harassment
Edited on Sat Nov-27-10 08:16 PM by Drale
and the fact that he threated to do horrible things, I would have counter sued his ass for the over charge. I also would have contacted Lafont and informed them this man was selling counterfeit merchandise, and they would not have taken to him small claims, they would have busted his ass into the ground. People need to realize that you can also make a bullies life a living hell.

4. That's when you file reports with both your own state AG
and the AG in whatever state the scumbucket admits to, alerting them to an ongoing scam. Print out the company's extensive history online while detailing your own problems with them.

Posing as someone over the phone to get a legitimate dispute dropped is fraud. Mr. Bully is going to end up behind bars as soon as someone gets angry enough to pursue this properly.

You can fight these sons of bitches. You just need to enlist the right help.

and the man Stanley Bolds. He apparently is totally crazy.

See this one. Same shit from that guy: http://www.ripoffreport.com/Optical-Products-Repair/Decormyeyes-com-Stan/decormyeyes-com-stanley-bolds-p2mf4.htm

"...After paypal closed the claim because he sent the tracking # he called and laughed at me, tell me he liked f*cking me and then I say he leave me no choice but to post negative feedback to my experience and that is when he when completely nuts.... He THREATENED TO KILL ME going in every gruesome deal and he said he didn't care about the cost to fly to Canada that I should watch my back everytime I left the house as he as all my information.

And another one from another site says: "Seriously one of the most scary experiences i've ever had.

Stanley sent me the wrong sunglasses and I said I just wanted a refund. He told me I was trying to "fu*k him" and that he would give me $50 and call it a day (I paid $250 for them).

I told him I wanted a refund and he refused so I called him. He yelled at me and told me I was a "Chicago a**hole" and that I was trying to f*ck him. I hung up bc I was in shock and he called my WORK phone and threatened to do something bad to me if I gave him a hard time. He said he would call my HR team and do something bad. (what the hell?). I saved the message and im taking it to the police bc no one should ever be threatened like that.
