Markets are happy that....when did markets supersede citizens?

1. Another Scorecard
Remember, these cables are more bloodsport than news. They need scoreboards to frame their winners and losers. We see it all the time with polls...especially when they cherry-pick 'em to "prove" their position of that of "the people". Market numbers are another such game. Hell, they keep a running count of the Dow all day just like ESPN runs their sports crawl. When the market and the corporates are up then it must mean everyone is happy. When it drops then it's the damn "socialist" Democrats again. The narratives are hard-set, the numbers are juggled to fit them. But you knew that...
