Could we say that the US is basically a failed state? Supporting the most vicious dictatorship that fuel awfully lot of global jihadism and there's no way this is the main topic in the so-called democracy of the US? The US does have formal democratic institutions but they don't function, just like in Saddam's Iraq or some other so-called "failed state". What can we do to stop this nonsense?

Here can do is push back, keep it up, don't stop, write letters to the press, phone all the reps. not just yours but all of them and do it often, take up their time. A lot of my messaging here on DU is trying to stir up the troops, because something is coming and it sure smells fascist to me. It needs to be defeated by shear numbers.
