Hillary Clinton ordered American officials to spy on high ranking UN diplomats, including British representatives.
Top secret cables revealed that Mrs Clinton, the Secretary of State, even ordered diplomats to obtain DNA data – including iris scans and fingerprints - as well as credit card and frequent flier numbers.

All permanent members of the security council – including Russia, China, France and the UK – were targeted by the secret spying mission, as well as the Secretary General of the UN, Ban Ki-Moon.

2. DNA samples, such as hair samples, can be used to determine quite effectively...

...medication or other drugs a person is taking and it can give them a good overall insight into the lifestyle and overall health of an individual. Helps negotiations to know if the other guy has to take blood pressure medication, anti-anxiety medication (etc.) and whether or not he or she's got a coke habit.

That's not new technology either.

21. Actually no. Most "spies" have diplomatic immunity.

Most CIA and intelligence personnel are issued official cover as State Department personnel, which makes them effectively exempt from local law--if they commit a crime, then the most the host country can do is deport them back to the US, unless the US waives diplomatic immunity. For instance, if a State Department official assigned to England killed a prostitute, the US would probably waive diplomatic immunity. If someone assigned to, say, Turkey gets accused of theft of espionage, the US will have them sent back here.

The exception is NOCs, meaning "Non-Official Cover." These are CIA people whose covers are not eligible for immunity: corporations, NGOs, and others. Valerie Plame was a NOC, for instance.
