Clinton calls leaked documents attack on world
<snip>

"Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says the leak of hundreds of thousands of secret diplomatic documents is an attack not only on the United States but also the international community.

In her first public comments since the weekend release of the classified State Department cables, Clinton said Monday that online whistleblower Wikileaks acted illegally in posting the material. She said the Obama administration was "aggressively pursuing" those responsible for the leak.

She said the leaks erode trust between nations. But Clinton also said she was "confident" that U.S. partnerships would withstand the challenges posed by the latest revelations."

is what HRC said, Ala trust and partership in the international diplomatic community.

"Attack on the World" makes it sound like she is a nutcase.

5. gratuitous to Secretary Clinton: Get over yourself
Besides, as my government has tirelessly told me over the past 30 years, if you've done nothing wrong, you shouldn't have anything to hide. Unless, of course, this exposure begins rebuilding that critical mass that will force the current administration to begin investigating some of the crimes of the previous administration. Because that would apparently be very bad, indeed.

Very bad for whom, though?

10. An attack on the WORLD?! LOL!
Oh fer fucks sake. I liken this to audio taping all the mean girls at school as they gossip about each other... then playing it back over the intercom. It has caused those doing all the talking embarrassment and created strained relationships. It's in no means an attack on the school. In fact, the rest of the school finds it quite amusing and perhaps has taught the mean girls a valuable lesson.

For such vital, life-altering "secrets" they weren't very secret at all.

The fact that they're all being pissy about each other is not earth shattering to anyone but them.

14. "world" = "me"
She's overly introspective for a Secretary of State.

15. yes, yes, yes, since 1750 elites always say they're representing "the world"
or "humanity"; the 19th-century-Liberal Central Americans loved to do this: enemies of El Señor Presidente were designated "enemies of mankind" or humanity
