Palin lies about daughter’s use of gay slur

Sarah Palin is forgetful with the truth.

Remember the recent Palin Facebook drama? Sixteen year old Willow Palin called someone a faggot.

In Mama Palin’s version, her child used a “bad word” only after being provoked by “very, very hateful things about the family and….mean things about her little brother Trig.”

This would be a great story if it were related to the truth. The youngest Palin was never mentioned in the Facebook conversation; the gay slur was typed after someone offered a mild critique of Palin’s reality show. In the world/mind of Palin not liking her show equals saying “hateful things.” By the way, I’ll grant her point about leaving her kids be.

Typical right wing rewrite of history...facts be damned...

If you read the things they post on chat boards, you can see that they have a completely alternate reality. Facts from solid sources cannot shake them from the beliefs they cling to.

Yep, she gets away from it all by being on TV. Then does Dancing With the Stars.

the other daughter, still a juvenile, but since the hate speech used by her is out there, Palin should have condemned the use of it by her daughter.

And if the mother has gone through life feeling superior and entitled instead of embracing a sense of accepting diversity, the kids learn the example from her to also not be accepting of others different from them.

It is quite telling that Sarah and Willow's apologies were miniscule. Sarah didn't even apologize for her blatant racism during Election 2008 and now while in the limelight. Since, the mom probably uses that language and feels no remorse about it, the daughter probably grows up without any indication how truly hurtful the utterance of such slurs really are. Sadly, they probably don't care.
