Toyota dealer's waiting lounge computers block DU, but not Free-Republic.
I've got my Toyota Tacoma for sale, so I took it in the other day to have the throttle recall done. The dealership - Toyota of Greenville (SC) - has a VERY nice waiting facility with multi rooms (some with TV, some quiet for readers, etc). In the main waiting area are several computers with internet connections. I had often used them in the past to surf my favorite sites, including DU, BuzzFlash, and BartCop. All three are now blocked, but Free Republic is alive and well at Toyota of Greenville.

I just got my online opinion survey from Toyota of Greenville regarding my recent experience with their service department. I'm lickin' my chops to tell them how it was!

3. I'm betting the owner of Toyota of Greenville does not inquire
as to the political leanings of customers buying vehicles at his fine establishment. Perhaps the locals should enlighten him by shopping for cars elsewhere.
