1. It has been reported that they were closed nearly everywhere
TSA blinked...terrified of the Holiday backlash.

5. The brits bring them out, test them
and put them back every so often... it is the software and how easy they are, in reality, to fool

4. In Denver?
That is my single most unfavorite airport in the US.

That is really surprising. At that airport, you can cut the paranoia with a knife.

7. Shut them down..Push Back...and they are "laying low" to hit us over Christmas Travel?
There was only ONE here in Operation at RDU Airport. But, there are a THOUSAND waiting to be online coming in 2011! So, this was their "First Effort."

That NYT and Other News said "Great Protest AGAINST TSA SCANNING/GROPING FAILED over TG WEEKEND...says what the Media is hoping will be getting Acceptance for the Coming Holiday and 2011 when the REST OF THE MACHINES are Delivered.

Hubby is flying from RDU to Atlanta this Week...he cancelled Delta Flight because that Terminal has the "Back Scatter Machine" and is using "Air Tran" from the Terminal that doesn't have the "Backskatter" that was delivered. I don't know if he will get the "Groping" ....will wait to see. If he does, I'll let you all know how he did. He has to fly for his job on this flight..so he will have to deal with it (as he told me) and I am really upset about what he might have to go through. But, at least he avoided the "Backscatter" with the radiation since he just had prostate surgery in October and doesn't need that.

9. Nope, and the security bin x-ray lady said
Next time, honey, don't put your purse in the same bin as your laptop. Really nice TSA all the way 'round. No one was stopped when I was going through...all there were in a really good mood...chatty little group...

10. Same thing for me from Palm Beach to Atlantic City. TSA workers
very courteous, customers all in good moods and chatty. While waiting to board we all chastised the media and thanked TSA workers as we went along. Very pleasant trip both ways. I even made the front page of the Atlantic City Press when they interviewed me as a traveler and what was my reaction. I only said positive things...LOL..
