I hear ya Mr. President!
The freeze would take effect on Jan. 1, pending Congressional approval by the end of this year. The 2012 pay freeze will be proposed as part of fiscal 2012 budget proposals to be unveiled early next year.

~snip~

The decision will save the government about $2 billion for the remainder of fiscal year 2011 and $28 billion over the next five years, the White House said. The long-term savings come from lowering the government's base compensation over the next two years.

I hear that middle-class working families don't deserve any cost of living adjustments.
That recirculating those potential increases into our economy by these families purchasing for their needs is just not worth it in your mind.

However...$7,000,000,000 PER MONTH IN AFGHANISTAN for the next 3 or so years is just fucking dandy in your mind.

I am this close to registering Green Party. The ONLY and I mean the ONLY reason, at this point, that I would vote for Obama again would be out of fear of who a Repuke President would appoint to the SCOTUS.

When he took office I had no idea. Call me naive but I really thought that...oh...forget it.

Why don't we just extend the tax cuts for the wealthy only. I think that a lot of people got taken.

10. The last paragraph of your post really hurts me. Because I did.
Have some idea. I just thought, "There's no way he will continue this unsustainable war, no way. The circumstances will force him to end it if he won't. There's just no way he could..."

Awful.
