I am offended by Palin’s attempt to build herself up by tearing down great men like Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

Palin is not a stupid woman. But like the current president, she still does not know what she does not know. And she does know how to make millions of dollars, even if she embarrasses herself while doing it.

It's not like this woman spent decades working her way up the political ladder such as a certain Secretary of State. Mooselini was an accidental candidate...chosen not for what she knew but initially as a Barbie doll...a cheap stunt by McCain to put some cheesecake on his crusty old rubber chicken. She became and still is a celebrity politician...only famous cause she's famous. She has no accomplishments other than a mouth that can't shut up and a corporate media that is addicted to the celebrity...the ultimate "politician" for the infotainment age.

Opportunists are never stupid, but her "smarts" are her ability to bullshit...creating a personna that is purely a cartoon character that is easily digested by the simple-minded and exploited by the corporate media. Her celebrity is not her own as the moment the media finds another "tart" she'll be lucky to make chump change at Rotary Club banquets. I'll be curious to see what happens when a couple years, pounds and wrinkles start showing and how that affects her political fortunes.
