Joe Scarborough: "It’s time Republican leaders started standing up & speaking the truth to Palin"
"What a spoiled brat."
................
GOP should take on Palin
By: Joe Scarborough
November 30, 2010 04:44 AM EST

Republicans have a problem. The most-talked-about figure in the GOP is a reality show star who cannot be elected. And yet the same leaders who fret that Sarah Palin could devastate their party in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private.

Enough. It’s time for the GOP to man up.
......................

If Republicans want to embrace Palin as a cultural icon whose anti-intellectualism fulfills a base political need, then have at it. I suppose it’s cheaper than therapy.

But if the party of Ronald Reagan, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio wants to return to the White House anytime soon, it’s time that Republican leaders started standing up and speaking the truth to Palin.

2. But that would require integrity and concern for the well-being of America
Just not going to happen among the Republicon Homelanders.

They just don't do integrity.

3. He wants her out so HE can run!
Joe is nothing if not a self-serving idiot. He's certainly a thousand-fold more intelligent than Palin...but so is a gnat. And I don't want either of them as president.

5. Palin running is the best thing for Democrats
and probably the worst thing for America. She is unelectable. It would further divide the country along the media created L v R lines. Our divide is about more media profits.

Her base of support is indicative of a fundamental problem in the USA which is a manipulated media/entertainment crazed electorate.

6. "the party of Ronald Reagan, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio"
I have a hard time thinking of any of those as being substantially much different from Palin.

8. Somehow George W. Bush ended up in the WH. It took a
corrupt Supreme Court to do it, but it happened. Anything is possible.

10. You mean like
when someone crosses those oddly certain untouchable unmentionables. For Republicans it is Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin.

Oh stop, Joe! You're killing me. "That's what she said."

Anyway, apparently Joe is tired of the talking chucklehead show and is auditioning for his next career move, pig-eyed sack of shit bad comedian. It's a bold step up, but I fully support Scarborough in pursuing his dream of opening for Carrot Top. Go for it, Joe!
