Former Tybee Island, GA cops guilty in teen Tazing

Two former Tybee Island police officers Monday agreed to plead guilty in return for suspended sentences to charges related to the May 21 Tasing of autistic teen Clifford Grevemberg.

Timothy Sullivan, 36, and Travis Daniel, 25, each were sentenced to four years in prison, which were suspended under a negotiated plea with prosecutors, Assistant District Attorney Ann Elmore said.

Chatham County Superior Court Judge John E. Morse Jr. imposed the terms based on three specific conditions and ordered each sentence under the state's First Offender Act.

That means if each defendant completes his sentence without problems, his record will be wiped clean of the crimes.

on the other hand...they need to spend time locked up over this...

2. At least they didn't get off with an acquittal like most cops do.

This will probably factor into the civil lawsuit as well.
