Harming Social Security would be a threat to whatever it is that unites this nation into something called America.

2. I suggest that you never collect anything from it then and, as a "Southern" state, perhaps
you should just be sending all of those net Federal dollars you are receiving back to D.C.

Now, THAT would be freedom.

13. I'm sorry!! Neither are mine! But all that does to me is make me that much more committed to
making them fucking miserable, in a nice polite way.

P.S. I live in ChurchCo-Kansas, so I DO really share your pain!!!

14. Rather selective semantic reference there, dkf. What do you think when someone uses the word "black"
Edited on Tue Nov-30-10 02:21 PM by patrice
or any of the other practically infinite connotative references in our language?

18. Well framing is the type of thing the GOP excels at.
You notice unemployment is being sold as a fiscal stimulus because social justice isn't much of a selling point nowadays.

19. I thought that seemed a little obtuse for something coming from you. With all of
the "Christians" in this country, you'd think Social Justice would be at least an opportunity to embarrass the hell out of some of these holier-than-thou community leaders who are all over the place.

22. Are you kidding me?
You honestly think Christians as a whole are interested on social justice? That comes with being liberal and progressive, not with religion nowadays.

Pah I am so disillusioned on Christian leaders. Please don't get me started.

16. No but I saw Mark Kirk in downtown Chicago last week
and I told him he better stand for the citizens of the United States and not for corporations. He's not going to do it, hes a stereotypical Republican, but it might give him something to think about. (but I doubt it)
