Including the Freedom of Information Act. The list is pretty astonishing. He was a very effective consumer advocate. I read a biography of him once, I was shocked by his early career. You would never know anything about it from the mainstream media. I think Chris Hedges wrote a piece on how the New York Times basically set out to make him ineffective in the late 70s and essentially did so.

I do want a primary challenger. What I would like more is for Obama to withdraw his name from consideration as a nominee just like LBJ did.

Obama has no respect for a good portion of his party, he admits it. So why should he remain our representative? He burned too many bridges with this "STUNT" imho. He can run as the Republican nominee.

I know the convential wisdom is we can't win with a primary challenger, but IMHO we won't win with Obama anyway. Again JMHO.

I believed he could win and that he could change things. I did not vote for him in the primaries true, but once he was the nominee I got on board, donated, and cheered for him as hard as anyone else. I was proud of him and proud he was our nominee. I cried tears of relief that he was in charge and planning on ending 8 insufferable years of Bush policies. I hung my flag out on the porch and sang Happy Days Are Here Again and America the Beautiful the day after the election.

Now that he IMHO is the one who has changed to fit Washington instead of changing Washingtion as he promised, however, and sided more with the Repulicans than he has with Democrats, I don't think it will be so easy for him. He has a record to run on now and that record IMHO will be the difference this time. Its what I am basing my opinion on but it's just my opinion. I am not asking you or anyone else to agree.
