Anyone have any knowledge of how this clip of her killing the caribou is going over with real hunters? Are they buying into the cosmetics of the thing or seeing it for what it was?

Frankly, if I were a true hunter, I'd be livid with this clip. It was nothing more than a caged hunt and people who go out and hunt should be pissed off. The lady's wearing make up, probably perfume and more or less let her "guides" do every thing for her except pull the trigger.

1. I refuse to watch the show

but was it actually a caged hunt? If it was just guided, well, that's fairly common with people who go hunting for the first time (but I thought she was this great outdoorsmen...), or go hunting for a particular animal for the first time. I know people who hunt whitetail who hired guides when hunting elk, because they hadn't dealt with them before

She appears to be a novice at all the things she is doing....fishing, mountain climbing etc. She is a fraud.

5. I think the caribou quit standing after the third or fourth shot. Must be contagious.

There has been some conversation as to whether Lady Blah Blah actually shot the animal because it fell the opposite direction from where she was shooting.

10. One of them chided me for "picking on a girl". I've been trying to keep my discussion with them

civil and focused on Palin's trying to assume the role of an advocate for the hunting/outdoor lifestyle when its clear that she isn't part of that.

For the most part they make excuses for Palin and point out that I'm a liberal troll (touche`).

9. My hubby used to be a hunter and he saw PLENTY wrong with it. I can't

recall all the things he said but some of it was having someone else point the gun for you, loading it for you, she doesn't have "respect" for the trigger, etc. etc. etc. Yeah he too thinks it was very faked.
