7. "Willing" has nothing to do with it. "Forced" is the real situation.

Is labor going to sit around and starve to death? The only thing workers can do is organize and fight back. They can't will their wages higher.

I don't recall seeing actual labor strikes, real shutdowns for at least a couple of decades now. These types of shutdowns were common when I was a kid...and might I add, viewed as respected avenues of negotiation or dissent. Every union in the US should have walked out and shutdown in sympathy with the air traffic controllers when Reagan pulled that stunt.

that's what it means to me. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to mean anything to the Democratic Party and President - except apparently it's their cue to rush into more labor destroying Free Trade Agreements.

11. Trickle Down Economics is an utter failure. Cash for Hoarders has failed.

When the top income tax rates were higher, more owners invested in their businesses and workers rather than pay more to the government.

Tax cuts for the rich pushed through reconciliation with Bush 2 resulted in zero net jobs.

So glad Bernie Sanders is on C-Span 2 laying out the facts.

With all the respect, it is not that I don't trust your graph.
In fact, I think this graph really describe the reality.
But I would like to expand the graph to see the fine print, and check the source to see for more information.
