My goodness, what it has taken for the Dems in Congress to get off of their duffs

and do their jobs. I haven't seen this much effort put towards anything in a long time. Day late and a dollar short for sure, but a whack on the nose was what it took apparently.

1. The House has been pretty good

2. I believe Pelosi was doing her job...the Senate filibuster stopped everything.

I only wish President Obama had used the bully pulpit effectively against those Senators who filibustered.

3. Too bad it took Obama coming to a compromise

to actually get the Senate engaged in something....I think Pelosi has done well over the past 2 years, but the Senate (GOP & blue dogs) hamstrung the President and the progressive agenda. It's a wonder Obama was able to get anything through...
