It really pisses me off that she's going there. Being the bigot that she is, I can't see her thinking anything much more than that this is the lot for people who are less than her (in her mind).

I'm guessing she and her loco friend Bachmann also think that this is because of a curse due to the people of Haiti bein' involved in voodoo and all.... Never mind the fact that so many are Catholic, and sat in a field singing to God after the quake.

It is beyond criminal what is happening to the people of Haiti. There have been more than a few journalists who have remarked that they cannot believe the lack of action over there.They never got the help they needed after the quake. They had to endure unecessary death and amputations due to lack of medical and rescue help. Then the floods, now cholera.

Now after catastrophe upon catastrophe, government corruption and world apathy, they have started rioting. Bigots like Palin will be smugly satisfied that "that's all these people know how to do." Or, "they don't value life".

I only wish that she is shocked into reality and compassion when she goes there. It would be great if she decided to devote her time to helping the people. She's in a perfect position for it.

People have changed, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
