I've been in the situation where I had to make choices between milk or a vegetable. I know how that feels. Obama apparently has never been in that position. Nor has Clinton.

But today, working Americans are in those dire straits. There is no apology for the compromise that Obama is proposing.

The Republicans will vote for the middle class tax cut as soon as they have the Senate. They will also vote for the tax cut to the upper class. And we will all be referring our friends to Bernie Sanders' words during his filibuster.

Obama and Clinton and Boehner and McConnell can either get with the program that will benefit the American people or go work for Wall Street.
