Chris Matthews tried to talk over the point that the Democrats are afraid

that tax cuts this year, means spending cuts in the future. Fineman(?) tried to point out that Medicare and Social Security are next and that Obama will go along with it. Matthews switched the topic right away.

Why this is offensive is that I could swear that it was Matthews who would mock the Democrats in the late nineties for scaring the Seniors over Social Security cuts. He said he did it too when he worked for Tip O'Neal.
