If Sen. Sanders were to get the Senate floor for a second
effort, he could appeal to citizens all over the US to email

to him to read. I spent hours listening to him but I think if

Let no historian of any age, present or future, say that there was never a legislator with grit and backbone amongst the political sheep and the wolves who dominated gridlock politics of the early 21st century. Today, this day, our day, one man with the fire of principle in his belly stood up for something, rather than run away from a fight, like so many of his contemporaries. This is what we the people, are supposed to elect Senators to do, and House members too. Why Is Vermont not gaining seats in the House faster than any other state? I would think that people so starved for real, genuine American backbone in their politics ought to remove themselves forthwith to Vermont, so as to be represented by such a man as the balance of this country ought to have in every seat of the 534 remaining which constitute our truly representative democracy. Recently, I have said that another highly placed political figure made me sorry to be a Democrat. While Bernie Sanders is an Independent by party, I cannot accord him enough or effusive enough thanks for redeeming my own faith in what is right, and possible, if Americans would stand up for something, rather than laying down and rolling over. belly up when the right fight comes along.

I really appreciated his factual presentation on the many ways in which Supply Side Economics has failed and turned into Cash for Hoarders instead.
