Anybody else find it interesting Nancy is out of town?
I know the stated reason, but anyone feel it has to do with what's heating up in Washington?

6. Sound like something she ought to attend. Washington will still be there on Monday.

7. Yep. I'm kinda surprised so many are still there, really.
I would think more than a few would be looking around for the proverbial undisclosed location.

but then I'm not from the school that everything that happens is a conspiracy,
although I do believe that the various corporate media entities are
in collusion with one another....and they favor big money interst at all times,
and even when they helped give Obama momentum in the primaries,
they knew that if by chance if he won (Rev. Wright didn't quite work),
he would just be the janitor cleaning up our shit for a limited time,
which is why they treat as such.....and in so doing, as ensured that most
in the country act accordingly.

12. Not a conspiracy, but by design
She may want to lay low and not fully commit to the so-called revolt.

9. Why would I be concerned about that? I'm sure she's a busy
woman, and there wasn't really any business being done by the House today.

I notice that you didn't say where she was. Were we supposed to get all bent out of shape? Screw that.

10. It isn't just a stated reason
she has, for years and years, fought for human rights in China. Her district is home to many Chinese emigres who wish to see more freedom in their homeland. I would be astounded if she weren't attending that ceremony given her record on those issues.

13. The House Is Rarely In Session On Friday
And my bets when Boner takes over (:puke:) he'll go back to Hastert's 3 day work weeks and extended vacations.

Here's hoping she has a wonderful weekend in Stockholm...must be good to get away from the cesspool inside the beltway.
