1. Not only that, but at the state level, we had a Democrat lose by 7 votes in her district.

We only had a 56% voter turn out this year.
Lowest since 1978.

Just 8 more votes, and we would have had 1 more Democrat in our state legislature!!

When people say their vote doesn't count, they have no idea how wrong they are.

3. Youth turnout was horrid
...and in the age of razor thin margins, getting out the vote counts more than ever

2. I don't see where the article said that or implied that
I did see that these pukes wanted to take the money and spend it on other things instead of the rail lines.

4. I'll grant the article did not say that, but do the math..connect the dots...
I suspect if Strickland and Feingold are still around, that money stays put. Maybe I'm too cynical.

6. And maybe they'd use it for what it was designated for?

If I gave my child money for his drivers education classes and told me that he wanted to spend the money on and Xbox instead, I would not give my child the money.

7. Nope, Walker REFUSED the money, and its going back to the Fed
... to be redistributed among other states.
Stupid, shortsighted Scott Walker. D'oh!

I feel sorry for - and angry at - my native state.

5. As agitated as I am with Obama at the moment...
He's still light-years better than the frightening Rethug alternative (and we're still recovering from that, of course).
