The movie should be mandatory for all Americans never more than now. Too bad there are commercials.

is the perfect allegory for TBTF vs. small Community Banks.

Potter is the TBTF. Bailey is the Community Bank.

Congress has spent the past 3 years supporting Potter and his efforts to run George Bailey out of business so that Potter can OWN IT ALL.

Notice that in the past 3 years it is the Big Banks that Congress has saved, gradually shutting down hundreds upon hundreds of small banks.

Notice also what happens to the Community when the TBTF Potter owns it all.

Look familiar?

Forget about the anti-Corp propaganda that the MSM and their cronies (Move-On, etc.) are trying to fill your mind with.

The Corps are beholden to the Banks, just like you are. The TBTF Banks and Fed Reserve are the TOP of the corrupt heap.

Great Movie. Says it ALL.

Take care of the REAL Problem, first: the Big Banks. Then move to the second Problem: the Corps.

and big government taking on social issues.

36. And had a gigantic ego.
There's a funny story about Capra bringing a movie review into the office one day and reading it aloud.

It went on and on about the movie having "Capra'a magic touch" etc.

The guy who actually wrote the script for the movie, Robert Riskin, sat and listened for a while.

Finally he walked over to Capra and said: "Here, Frank. Put your magic touch on THIS." And handed Capra a blank sheet of paper.
