Anyone from Michigan see the stealth-type aircraft flying southwest of Detroit, Monroe County today?

****************************************************************
if it was stealth-type, how could anyone see it?

1. Stealth aircraft are visible to the naked eye.
It's a radar deal.

10. You may be arrested for disclosing classified information, cease and desist
You have really hurt the national cause, Ubersturmfuhrer Gates is mighty pissed.

The idea was to lie to the other side and tell them we had thousands of these stealth aircraft parked all over the place, but they were invisible so of course they couldn't see them to count them. Now the secret is out, and we're gonna have to spend trillions building the darned things, just so we can say we got them.

2. I think our stealth bombers have a distinctive
triangular shape.

3. Earlier today, I noted my own "fave" post....
...floating in that cesspool:

"I don’t mind that gays in the military will have the right to ‘flaunt’ and ‘practice’ their homosexuality, as long as the non-homosexual soldiers have the right to beat the crap out of them."

... whose profile page proclaims, ironically in light of the above:

"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed a little easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."

http://www.freerepublic.com/~ucansee2/

(.. and yes, that abhorrent post still remains some ten hours later; that vile, hateful scam-master, RimJob, and his "team" have not even considered its removal in spite of its advocacy of violence against members of the United States military or that such violence is decidedly not "christian" which is of such utmost importance to those cretins throughout their posts 24/7. Fucking hypocrites.)

4. Okay this is sorta crazy
Edited on Sat Dec-11-10 11:00 PM by Cal Carpenter
I actually did see it about 40 miles from where that person saw it..

I don't know much about military planes but it's rare to see something like this around here.

It seemed low-flying and sorta triangle shaped and fast as shit.

Sorta like this:

11. Are there any military bases in the area?
That would be the most sensible answer here. Military aircraft are often seen flying near military bases.

17. Not really

a national guard base about 70 miles away... It certainly isn't something that happens often around here although I understand it's quite common near military bases etc.

When we saw it we thought it may have to do with the big hockey event at U of Mich yesterday - the biggest outdoor NCAA hockey event ever... Maybe they were just showing off or something for the crowd. There were a few other small planes with signs and stuff flying around all day.

Not going out of my way to defend some random freeper or anything, just thought it was funny to see this OP after we noticed the same thing and thought 'wtf' about it too.

5. Nothing beats "casting asparagus" IMHO.
Although "we're totally screwn" is a close second.
