tomorrow, almost a republican-free sunday morning
ABC's This Week: David Axelrod (Senior White House adviser), Tzipi Livni (PM of Israel), Salam Fayyad (PM of Palestine)
CBS's Face the Nation: Axelrod, Howard Dean (DNC chair), Rep. Jerrold Lindner (D-NY)
NBC's Meet the Press: Axelrod, Mayor Michael Bloomberg (Independent, New York City)

BUT...

Fox News Sunday made sure not to leave the GOP out - Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI/Incoming Chairman, Budget Committee) will appear along with Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD/Incoming Ranking Member, Budget Committee)

and on CNN's State of the Union, Axelrod will be interviewed; there will also be three Democratic members of Congress, Reps. Elijah Cummings and Jim McDermott and Sen. Dick Durbin, and Obama's former intelligence director Dennis Blair.

No, creeping freepers, this Sunday morning does NOT prove liberal bias, as Republicans appear on these shows pretty much the other 50 or so Sundays of the year and are usually paired with Democrats or even given exclusive interviews! Not to mention that one sunday with an all-republican Face the Nation (Sept. 26, 2010, searching from this old thread i posted and CBS's show summary).

1. With Democrats pimping Bush tax cuts, who needs Republicans?
You can be sure that's why Axelrod is making the rounds.

2. Man, if Obama wants to state his case, I can think of many different spokespeople
would do a better job. I don't think Axelrod will be changing anybody's mind.

3. That Has Been My Impression All Along
That this WH has a very inept messaging operation. I find Axelrod and Gibbs presentations lacking in so many respect - IMO they both struggle to make their points directly and frequently in halting manner. Then to cap it, Obama, himself, cannot explain things in plain, simple terms that carry over to the general public at large. He comes across as lecturing and/or condescending.
