Embattled militia man gets holiday travel

A federal judge approved holiday travel plans for a local militia man accused of conspiracy and domestic terrorism.

Kristopher Sickles, 28, of Sandusky, got permission this week to travel in the area with his family for the Thanksgiving holiday. snip

The condition was temporarily amended so Sickles could spend time with his family, according to court documents.

Sickles is one of nine members of a Michigan-based Christian militia group, Hutaree, who federal investigators say planned acts of domestic terrorism. The six were arrested earlier this year.
