What if the Tea Party and their backers are the actual communists?
(Half of this is in jest, but that means only half of this is in jest)

The Tea Party and their corporate and wealthy sponsors talk about "free markets" and they complain about "socialism", but that's not all they do.

They run around telling the government to "get out of Medicare", Rand Paul triumphantly announcing that there are no classes anymore (Just the rich and those who work for the rich), protesters in town hall meetings screaming "I earned my inheritance!", stamping "Do not cover, has pre-existing conditions" on the backs of the diapers of newborns, calling child hunger a "positive motivator", that people should just get a job even when there are no jobs available, getting subsidies with our money when they get into financial trouble while telling us to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps when we get into financial trouble, and more.

Oh, and they call anyone who disagrees with them a "socialist" or some other thing. So they've got that covered, it's 100% projection.

Does anyone not think that their guiding light for capitalism has gone from Adam Smith, to Ayn Rand, to now apparently Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants?

This is what it is:

The Koch brothers and their allies sit around and read Marx's complaints about capitalism and come to the conclusion that this is how capitalism should be

or

They are trying to redefine capitalism into such a bizarre and ridiculous caricature of itself that only the ignorant or the insane would support it

1. Since they are Pro-Business, Fascism. would be the more
approptriate ideology. Fascism is an ideology of the Right.

Communism is an ideology of the Left. There is not one thing
left about Tea Party.

3. .
IMO the real problem with Socialism of the past has been that it created a small elite class (2%-3%) which was far more powerful than the rest of the society (97%-98%).

To hold onto their power inevitably required resorting to fascist methods.

Capitalism has attempted to separate the power of politics from the power of wealth (with only limited results) to limit the possibility of creating such an extreme class of elites.

The new Conservative movement has decided to take a different path to creating a small elite class which will inevitably resort to fascist methods to hold onto their power. Achieving this goal through Capitalism or Socialism makes no difference in the end. It still creates powerful fascist elites who sacrifice the well being of the vast majority for the excesses of a small minority.

(none of this is in jest, which means none of this is in jest; except maybe this part).

Something I should have added before but forgot to is that the very leader of the democratic socialist party here in the US is confused as to why the right keeps calling Obama a socialist when their idol Sarah Palin is actually much more of a socialist.

6. Well, Marx's analysis of Capitalism is irrefutable, and.....

anyone who does 'support' it is ignorant, insane, bought or a member of the ruling class.
