Interesting MSNBC 'take' on Rosie:
Edited on Mon May-28-07 09:14 AM by PCIntern
"Is Rosie Greedy?" ----that's the headline.

She's asking for 20 million. When, say Arnold S. asked for 30 million or so for a film, did they ask if he was 'greedy'?

since when is it un-American to work for what the market will bear? What are these people at MSNBC - Communists?

:sarcasm:

3. Asking for 20 hoping for 10
Just like politics is played or used to be played. When Bush* first came to office he used that strategy. He asked for double what he really wanted knowing that Congress would cut it in half. They always do. Except the GOP controlled Congress at the time not only did not make any cuts, they added to the requests. We know what has happened since then. It is no wonder Bush*/Cheney feel they are invulnerable..

4. i think she asked for
more than she believed they would pay- Because she was truly tired of the show- tired of the in-your-face controversy.

And i can't really blame her.

the stars sell themselves - but the networks are the pimps.

And the sponsors are the johns- and we become the enablers when we put money into the system.

capitolism at work....
