Now this one is a departure from the other you posted with its many squares. I love afghans.

because of the "thermal" construction of Afghan stitch aka Tunisian crochet. I've played around with it, including the intarsia technique you used, but I've never actually made anything with it. But there's a project I've been thinking about for the past few weeks...I think maybe you inspired me to actually start it!
