2. Actually, I'm not sure --
I was just searching around on Google Images for something interesting, and I thought the colors, the lightning, and the advertising were all interesting elements.

5. Thanks Katherine
I hope you were giggling over my typo. I did this when I was tired and hubby pointed out I misspelled lightning.

OOPS! Oh well, that should teach me to try and type when I'm tired and should be sleeping:evilgrin:

6. lol - I was mostly giggling at myself because I stared at it for a few minutes
and had no idea what I was looking at - it took me way too long to figure it out.

:)

7. I'm having trouble figuring out a good one.
I'd knit red socks, but we're Cleveland fans around here (who do wear red socks, but it's just wrong during this series). I'll have to think some more.

8. Same here --
having trouble that is (love my Red Sox) but I have an idea... just not sure about the execution yet.

10. I was thinking of doing some beadweaving
of this pix, but not sure if I have time.

If anyone else goes for doing something, count me in!

12. I bombed. I just couldn't think of anything.
It's not like I didn't start stuff, because I did, but nothing fit the theme.

13. Likewise, I crapped out.
I did lots of other things, but none of them had anything to do with this...

Bad me.

14. Me too
Maybe we could do something with a prompt like "childhood memories" or even just a color of the season. (I'm reminded of how the monthly photo contests get their inspiration.) A lot of us might even have something around the house that we've already done with that in mind and can post a pic. I know that I've made things that sprang from thoughts of my early years and interests.

Even if we didn't make the craft it might be nice to see if it's something that a relative or friend hand crafted for us - socks or a sweater or a hand made toy.

I think you have a good idea here with the challenges. Just a thought to keep it going.

P.S. I haven't been posting much here or at DU in general like I used to. We've been terribly busy with a renovation project since before the summer. Now that it's completed I hope to get into crafting more.

15. Oh, well, then I have something that would work.
I just finished a toddler sweater in fall-ish colors, so that should work for both of those ideas.

Yay for a reno job done!
