Son's Cardigan

[My Good Babushka]

I have started knitting for my son who starts school this fall. He as a pretty strict dress code, so I despaired of finding clothes we could afford. I've been thinking of opening an etsy shop with knitted clothes from vintage patterns, especially for boys because boys clothes seem especially junky and not at all classy lately. Anyone think it would be a worthwhile venture? I'd like to hear from folks doing the etsy thing.

I'd check out the pricing on Etsy for things like you want to sell. At least it would give you an idea if it's worth while.

Knitting smaller things might get you more bang for the buck. Things like small, knitted, vintage styled baby toys. The prices wouldn't scare people off and you could see how it goes. Maybe you'd even enjoy it more because of the variety.

Your sweater is very sweet. I bet you enjoyed getting it done.
