Do you all know about Artfire?

It's new, sort of like Etsy, not as polished. It's still in Beta testing and a little buggy. But you can list your work for free, and listing is a bit quicker than at Etsy. I've gotten one sale there, and I hardly have anything listed.

1. oh yeah..LOVE it

I instantly signed up for the $7 a month plan because my etsy bill is freaking bananas and I will be saving a ton once it blows up.

They actually called me when i had problems, all of which have been fixed since. I already have two sales and are noticing a lot of my etsy friends over there as well.

I could go on and on about why i want to punch etsy in the face.. I have been there too long and seen way to much..

2. Congratulations on your Artfire sales!

I made one over there, too, with minimal effort. And I also got a personal call when the site had problems. Like you, I have the $7/month plan. Love it! But so far I have to say I'm happy with Etsy as well--maybe because I'm new.

Artfire called me too and I died! Ive rode the etsy train for over two years now.. have seen it all.. Dont agree with a LOT of how they run their company but it has done me well, I am over 650 sales there.. But that is because of me though and the 16 hours i sit here a day ;0

and there is a new site called 1000Markets that is juried and amazing!

Soap is SUCH a market that you can just explode in! i know a few soaperss who have done incredibly well on etsy!
