Order now to insure delivery by Christmas
But . . . I'm thinking if we join forces - and each order one . . . and get them for $100K each.

Who's with me?

1. No rack of bungie cords?
Not too useful.

Still, for the excellent price of 100k, ...

11. Welcome to Nieman-Marcus Cycles, Inc.
We just need to photocopy your driver license, and accept your cash bond of $110,000. Enjoy your ride.

6. How they gonna sell those things when a Hyabusa cost 1/8th as much and is faster?
You have to wonder why anyone would pay that much for one of the things when your local Kawasaki or Suzuki dealer would be more than happy to sell you a faster bike for about one eighth the price and give you a warranty and a free helmet to go with it.

A couple of months ago they had a big whoop-de-doo at the local Harley dealership and there were a several hundred bikes there all day long. So lots of folks were wondering around the parking areas admiring bikes as they came and went. There was a stretched Hyabusa with custom bodywork parked there and when I walked up to it there was a guy just standing there drooling over it. The thing was beautifully done but what is more important is what the drooler told me. He said (I paraphrase from memory) 'I came over here on the interstate from Cumberland (Cumberland, Maryland is a bit over 60 miles to the east on I-68) and was going 175 miles per hour when the guy riding this thing blew by me like I was parked". The guy was riding a Kawasaki XZ12, no slouch itself.

8. that is true about everything in that catalog
it's not what you buy from it, it's how much you overpay for whatever you buy. That's what you brag about - how much you pay.

9. yeah - I agree with that
I certainly like my old stock Sportster's looks better.

Just the idea of buying a bike from a catalog for a mere $110K is kinda facinating.
