Daytona Antique and Classic Motorcycle Auction
It's bike week again and time to get the blood flowing. If you enjoy old bikes, classics, vintage racers then you'll enjoy this site. The auction is this weekend.

2. If you look around on the site I think you can find a link to last years
auction and the prices that bikes went for. You'd be surprised what some of them go for.

4. They have a lot of nice Triumphs.
I hate to ask what this will cost. It's Nicolas Cage's old bike

5. wow
I'd love to have a Vincent. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for over $50k.

7. A dealer's showroom exhibit
And then got stored and forgotten. I have neckties like that, but they'll never be worth anything.

This bike will bring in a fortune. And it will be trucked to a garage where it will sit. Nobody's going to actually ride the thing, it's a museum piece now. In other words, "useless".

I fished around the site looking for past auctions to get a clue what the more normal bikes might bring, but no luck (probably my error). I'm sort of afraid to know, 'cause if the prices are low, I might be tempted. And I already have two and a half bikes in the garage :)

8. The past auction results for some of the Triumphs were pretty much
in line with what a used motorcycle would cost.

Here's a link for the 2008 results.

And here's one for the 2007 results.

9. Why, Why!
Must you tempt me with the old British bikes?

I learned to ride on a 67 Triumph Bonneville and it is still the coolest and crappiest bike I've ever owned. I always loved Norton Commandos though. Has it been long enough, have I forgotten enough to want an early 70s British bike again?

Yes. God help me, yes!
