Boneyard....

Visited a motorcycle junkyard with a friend.....looking for old Honda 360CBT :crazy: parts.....the pics are crappy because they came from my cell phone.




Bikes and pieces and parts for several acres. :o

just along to help my friend 'scrounge' the yard to find the parts he wanted. He had success. :hi:

a good junkyard.....they literally had to drag me away! :rofl: So many with lots of potential.....it was hard not to buy another project bike. :D

I'm already catching hell from the wife for the pile of parts I already have in the storage shed. There's most of a '66 Triumph Bonnevile I need to do something with one of these days :)

I have "Most of" a 71 BMW R50/5 in my garage. Rounding up the missing parts would break me. And, since the 73 R75/5 runs, the motivation is not there.

But an old Bonneville - it would be hard to resist trying to get that one running again.

I wonder if there's a motorcycle junk yard near me ... hmmm...

7. It was given to me

I've got the frame, engine/tranny,rear wheel and abunch of misc parts. I'm missing the front wheel, tank and handlebars. Thinking about making a bobber out of it, something really simple...

real sweet all fixed up. What you need isn't hard to run down at all. I know, I am encouraging a bad habit (I have the same one) :rofl:
Had to really grit my teeth to walk away from a running Ironhead for less than $2000 this past week............still thinking of what I could have done with that bike. :D

9. I'd have to come up with a title

I don't have a title to it and have no idea where it came from or by what means in it's past :scared:

The two things that are hardest to come up with now are money and time, never seem to have enought of either these days :(

10. A title sometimes can be had for

filing a storage or repair lien on the title with your DMV, after a small amount of time, you can have the title transferred to your name. Least ways that is one way a title can be gotten here in NC under those circumstances. Have the numbers run on it if you have a friend in law enforcement or the DMV. You could do it like a custom and title it after the rebuild.....here you have to carry it to the Highway Patrol (so they can see that it is an actual roadworthy machine) and they assign it a number to get a title with.

I never have enough time nor money to do what I want to do. :pals:

that would of course assume that it's not hot. The frame and engine are from two different bikes according to the VIN numbers.

Having a motorcycle habit and a music habit is rough, one week I'm on a bike parts buying kick and the next week I want a new guitar amp :rofl:
